Sam Spurs Supporters on at This Year’s Zumbathon
11 June 2012
Sam Brownsword, owner of Move2Fitness in Stoke-on-Trent, is one of the instructors involved in this year’s Dougie Mac Zumbathon.
The event takes place on Thursday 28th June at Hanley Forest Park (Central Forest Park) with doors opening at 6pm and a prompt start at 6.30pm.
We caught up with Sam, she told us about her love for fitness and why she wanted to support the Hospice in this way.
“As a Dancer for over 10 years I needed to fuel my passion of dance and fitness, so I pursued my career in the fitness industry, becoming a fully qualified Fitness Instructor.
“Over the last 2 years, I have constantly kept myself and my classes fresh and up-to-date with knowledge, qualifications in many aspects of the latest trends: Zumba, Zumbatomic and Bokwa.
“Zumba makes you feel healthy, fit and full of life, not only as a workout but moving to the music and meeting new friends.
“I chose to support a fantastic charity with my love of Zumba, sparing just a few hours will help so many people, this is why I want to help raise money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Their commitment to care needs supporting.
“Let’s giggle and wiggle for the Dougie Mac!”
