Dougie Mac 5k run/walk, April, Wedgwood Estate
Our annual 5k run/walk takes place for those of us who like to
dash around on a Sunday morn the 5k (3 mile) course is in line
with UK athletics standards and will be over in a mere 16 minutes.
For the more sedate Hospice Supporter it’s just a lovely easy
walk through the lush country estate that is Wedgwood and the
sleepy Barlaston village that would probably take you about 45
minutes to an hour, but your not bothered about the time your
just enjoying a bright crisp Spring morning with Friends, family
and the Dog!
This really is our event for all the family, including the Dog!
We saw numbers triple in 2007, the second year the event has been
held to 750 entrants and we hope we can increase numbers significantly
again. So give us an hour of you & yours quality time and join
us for the 5k run/walk 2009.
Entry Fee: £6 for Walker & Affiliated Runners, £8 for non affiliated runners,
£10 on the day
