With your signature we can claim an extra 28% of your donation
from the ‘Tax Man’ for Douglas Macmillan Hospice
If you are a UK taxpayer, you have probably already paid tax on
the money you have given. With Gift Aid you can now choose to
have that donated as well. At no extra cost to you, the Hospice
can claim Gift Aid, a further 28% of your donation(s) from the
H M Revenue & Customs (formerly Inland Revenue). This will increase
your donation(s) by 28%. For example - £5 becomes £6.40, £10 becomes
£12.80 etc.
Gift Aid can be claimed on any eligible donations made since 6th
April 2000
or 6 years prior to the year a donation is made.
Please note: • You can cancel your declaration at any time by writing to us
or calling us on 01782 344308 or email finance@dmhospice.org.uk
• It is the donors responsibility to inform DMH when they no longer
pay tax equal to the amount DMH may claim on future donations.
• Only Douglas Macmillan Hospice and H M Revenue & Customs will
have access to this information.
