Lottery - How our Lottery Works

All Lottery players must be aged 16 years or over.

Entry into our Lottery costs just £1 per week. When joining the Lottery you will receive a unique Lottery number which is personal to you.

There are various ways of paying for your Lottery number, see the how to join section for more details.

Every Friday when our draw takes place, 279 Lottery numbers are selected at random from our electronic draw system.

No need to claim

All prize cheques are posted out within a week of the Lottery draw.
Winning numbers can be found on our website and on display in each Douglas Macmillan Hospice shop through the Staffordshire area. The top 5 winning numbers are also published each week in The Sentinel and are announced on Signal 2.

For data protection purposes we do not list or publish name and full address details of our winners.
