Ideally situated close to the city centre and with easy access to the M6 and A50, the Douglas Macmillan Hospice Education Centre provides an ideal location for everything from small meetings and away-days to training and conference facilities for up to 100 delegates.

Purpose built in 2007 to offer education and training to all professional practitioners involved in the care of patients and families living with cancer and non-cancer conditions, we are also able to offer a wide range of facilities including:

Wolfson lecture theatre

Comfortably seats up to 80 (and can be split into 2 separate rooms) and has up-to-date conference facilities.

Comfortably seats up to 70 and has up-to-date conference facilities

Lecture theatre four (formally the skills lab)

Comfortably seats up to 20. Suitable for small meetings / lectures / training sessions.

IT Suite

Seats 9. Internet access available.

Seminar room

Seats 8/10 boardroom style.

Hospitality

In addition to tea/coffee/biscuits, our hospitality team are equipped to provide a delicious range of buffets for lunchtime meetings and training sessions and can cater for all diets and tastes. Healthy options are our speciality.
