Education

One of the most important aspects of the services provided by the hospice is the training and education of all staff working in palliative and end of life care in the local health economy.

The hospice Education Department provides a full range of accredited courses and qualifications in palliative care. These include certificate, diploma and degree in palliative care and communication skills. In addition study days are designed to provide for the needs of individuals and organisations. The majority of students are staff working in the NHS, social care and private sectors.
