The hospice has to work to standards set by the government. The hospice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission on a regular basis. To help with the inspection process, the hospice has to provide proof that the quality of the service meets the required standards.
Detailed information on the regulations and standards that the hospice is required to meet can be found on the Care Quality Commission’s website: www.cqc.org.uk
A copy of our inspection report is available on the Care Quality Commission’s website: www.cqc.org.uk
As part of the process of quality assurance, the views of the patients are actively sought.
- A Patients’ Forum meets once per month
- A survey of patients' and carers' views is carried out each year
If you would like to comment on the services received from the hospice, please click here to complete our online feedback form.
Members of the Patients’ Forum are happy to talk to any patients who feel a little nervous about coming to the hospice for the first time. Anyone who wished to take up this invitation should contact the Day Therapy Unit Sister, who will arrange a meeting or a telephone call.
