Our shops sell a wide range of donated items including adults’ and children’s clothing, furniture, toys, bric-a-brac, books, and a number of new goods, such as cards, candles and branded items. All of these are at affordable prices.
We rely on our supporters to donate their unwanted items - so have a spring clean, clear out your cupboards or send us your unwanted presents. We’ll turn them all into funds that will directly benefit local people and their families.
Donated items can be taken to any of the shops during opening hours.
Alternatively why not organise a 'Bag It, Bring It' - a collection in your work place. Call our Hotline for a bag 01782 344339 or email

All of our shops depend on volunteers, who help each Branch Manager, sort stock and serve customers, which enables us to keep our costs to a minimum so that the maximum money raised by the shops goes directly towards funding patient care. Our volunteers enjoy working as part of a team, gain pleasure from supporting the Hospice and enjoy the social aspects of meeting customers.
90% of our stocks are donated goods and therefore we are totally dependent upon local people to give us their unwanted clothes, furniture and bric-a-brac. Sadly we cannot accept or sell everything we are given. Items we cannot accept include:
- Mechanical items including bikes
- Upholstered furniture that does not carry a fire retardant kite mark
- Toys – although we accept most, we are unable to accept soft toys due to safety regulations
