Our Mission Statement

Our aim is to promote comprehensive care for those with progressive, advanced disease and a limited life expectancy in order that they may achieve the best possible quality of life.

• To offer comprehensive specialist palliative care to adults in North Staffordshire with progressive, advanced disease and a limited life expectancy.

• To maintain the patient's optimum quality of life by providing a caring, supportive environment, ensuring that their privacy and dignity is preserved for as long as possible.

• To provide a choice in care setting; the patient has the choice of receiving our support in their own home or in our in-patient unit, day therapy unit or as an out-patient.

• To offer professional advice and support to families and carers during the patients illness and during the initial stages of bereavement.

• To provide specialist training and education to Hospice staff and other Healthcare Professionals.
