Douglas Macmillan Hospice’s Leek shop is set for a refreshing new look for the first time since opening its doors 16 years ago.
The modern branding reflects the re-generation project currently being undertaken by the hospice after research conducted as part of our community engagement project.
Our stores will be freshly painted and given new signage to reflect our well known name ‘Dougie Mac’ rather than Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Yvonne Colclough, Retail Operations Head commented,
“We’re really excited to be starting our shops re-generation project at Leek, which was one of our first stores to open 16 years ago.
“The new signage will reflect our ‘Dougie Mac’ branding, which the majority of the community refers to us as anyway.
“We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters in Leek for supporting the shop by shopping and donating over the past 16 years.”
The Dougie Mac Leek shop will be closed on Monday 23rd May & Tuesday 24th May for refurbishments, but will be re-open later in the week.
The brand new and full refurbished Dougie Mac Leek shop will be unveiled on Monday 30th May at 9:30am.
