Douglas Macmillan Hospice’s new look Leek shop has re-opened its doors after having a week of refurbishment work.
The modern branding reflects the re-generation project currently being undertaken by the hospice after research conducted as part of our community engagement project.
The store will be freshly painted with new signage for the first time since opening its doors 16 years ago, to reflect our well known name ‘Dougie Mac’ rather than Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Yvonne Colclough, Retail Operations Head commented,
“We’re really excited to re-open our Leek shop with an exciting new look that I’m sure will please our loyal customers from Leek.
“We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters in Leek for supporting the shop by shopping and donating over the past 16 years.”
The Dougie Mac Leek shop re-opened its doors at 10am on Monday 30th May, with mascot Dougie the Sunflower cutting the ribbon.
