Douglas Macmillan Hospice has re-launched its E Bay Charity Shop. The new online shop sells new and used donated items which include ceramics, antiques, jewellery and collectables to books, crystal and many other unique and interesting items.
All items purchased will help to provide care and support to 3,000 patients and their families facing a life limiting illness not just at the hospice site but also in the comfort of people’s own homes right across North Staffordshire.
Karen McKenzie , Director of Income Generation said ;
“ This is another exciting new project which we hope will raise additional funds for the Dougie Mac . Our supporters have been so generous in the past in donating items to our 19 retail stores across North Staffordshire and we hope that by launching this new service, we will be able to reach a new online audience.”
Anyone who wishes to donate any wanted items for this service should be delivered to the Hospice Warehouse in Federation Road, Burslem. We are particularly interested in china figurines, ornaments, crystal, cameras, video/photographic equipment, branded ceramic vases, jugs, bowls, teapots, Beswick items, watches, jewellery, pens and any other unusual/unique items.
The ebay store is going from strength to strength with a view of listing hundreds of items to increase the monies raised for the hospice. The operation wouldn’t be possible without support from a team of volunteers and they are looking for additional volunteers to join the team. If you think helping with ebay is for you then please do get in touch with our Volunteer Resources to find out more information team on 01782 344332 or email@example.com,.uk
