David Webster has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
He has been the CEO of the Hanley Economic Building Society for the last 14years and has led the business from strength to strength and greatly enhanced it’s standing in the building society industry.
David is a keen supporter of local businesses and community initiatives in North Staffordshire and he was elected onto the Council of Keele University in 2010 and in 2012 assumed the position of Honorary Treasurer at the University, a role he has now completed this year.
He was appointed as a Trustee of the Hospice last autumn.
David Webster commented;
“I’m absolutely delighted to be the new CEO at Douglas Macmillan Hospice, and I am really looking forward to working with the hugely dedicated team there .The reputation of the Dougie Mac is superb and our aim will be to intensify our profile as a formidable force within our community.
