A crowd of over 3,000 people packed into the bet365 stadium yesterday for the Annual Dougie Mac Christmas Concert.
Pupils from Ball Green Primary, winners of The Sentinel’s Sing for your School competition, performed ‘Love Shone Down’ for the audience in the West Stand of the ground.
There was also performances from local talents Marc Williams, Lori Jones-Pullin, Destination Venus and other local school choirs.
Ball Green Primary Teacher Vicky Cleary commented,
“The children have been amazing and we are all extremely proud of them.
“Douglas Macmillan Hospice is held closely in many of the children’s, staff’s and school families’ hearts.”
David Webster, CEO of Douglas Macmillan Hospice added,
“We have become a real fixture in the North Staffordshire landscape and that has only been possible because of the support people have given us.
“The concert has give us the chance to say thank you to everybody who has supported us.”
