Business are being urged support Douglas Macmillan Hospice as part of their Million Pound Milestone campaign.
The Blurton-based hospice launched its Corporate Partnership Scheme in 2014, aimed at recognising the contribution local businesses make.
In 2016, a total of 23 organisations helped to raise more than £300,000 for the hospice.
Suzi Smith, Head of Corporate Fundraising & Events said,
“Corporate income accounts for four per cent of the hospice’s total income, so every donation we get from businesses makes an important contribution to the work the hospice does.
“The £1 million milestone focusses around five areas of fundraising and has a fundraising platform to suit every business no matter how big or small you are, how many employees you have, or what you’re hoping to achieve.
“Ways in which businesses can show support include payroll giving, corporate partnerships, advertising and sponsorship.”
