Tickets are still available for a Cabaret show on Saturday 18th March at Betley Village Hall supporting Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Music Thru the Decades, the brainchild of Audley-based June Ward is running its third show within the space of 12 months, having already raised over £2,700 for the hospice.
The Cabaret will include performances from professional singers, including seasoned performer Dennis Martin who is coming out of retirement especially for the show.
June’s husband Kenneth passed in 2011 aged just 58, after contracting psoriatic arthritis and receiving respite and hospice at home care from Dougie Mac.
June Ward commented,
“We didn’t know the hospice did respite care for long term illness, as we thought it was just for cancer.
“The shows are to honour his memory, and are so well supported so we’re hoping for another great turn out again.”
Suzi Smith, Corporate Fundraising & Events Head added,
“We’d like to thank June and the team behind Music Thru the Decades for their continued support and wish them luck with the cabaret show.
“All monies raised will help the hospice deliver excellent care to people approaching end of life.”
