Dougie Mac is delighted to announce the fourth Dare2Bare campaign in support of the hospice, thanks to local photography studio BCaptured.
Ladies over 18 have been invited to ‘bare all’ for their private photoshoot this month and to have a series of tasteful and ‘artist-nude’ photos taken in this fun event. Participants collect sponsorship money from family, friends & well-wishers who want to support their brave act and help to raise funds for Dougie Mac.
In its previous campaigns, over 150 dared to bare all, raising over a magnificent £23,000 for the hospice.
One participant, Katrina, has taken part to empower women everywhere. “I have a brain tumour myself” says Katrina, “and my sister died from breast cancer so this is for everyone who’s fighting… keep up the fight!”
“This last year I have fought breast cancer head on; even with one breast I want to feel and look attractive again” says Claire; She’s taken part to boost her confidence and to find closure on the difficult times she faced whilst battling cancer.
Meanwhile, Jemma has participated in memory of her much-loved Grandad who passed away from cancer last year. Jemma says “There are no words to describe how wonderful Dougie Mac was; we’ll always so grateful to the hospice.”
Photographs are to be released via BCaptured’s Facebook page shortly where the public are invited to like and share the snaps; there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs too for the lady who raises the most money and for the photograph with the most Facebook shares.
Suzi Smith, Head of Corporate Fundraising and Events added,
“We’re so grateful to BCaptured Studios for hosting this special charity fundraiser, and to all the inspirational ladies that are participating.
“We’re overwhelmed by the support this fundraiser garners and all the positive feedback we receive. We look forward to seeing the beautiful finished shots!
“All the monies from the campaign will help the Hospice continue to provide the highest level of care for local people facing a life limiting illness.”
