Be a Deer, support Dougie Mac this Christmas!

Dougie Mac doesn’t stop providing care just because it’s Christmas… In fact, our team of nurses, staff and volunteers work tirelessly over the festive period to make sure all of our patients and families can spend Christmas together either in the comfort of their own home or here at the hospice creating lasting memories with their loved ones.

Over the past 14 years, our Christmas Poster Campaign has raised over £150,000. This year, more than ever, we need your support. Your ongoing generosity will enable us to continue to develop our services as we embark on the ‘Road to Refurb’.

This Christmas we’re asking you to ‘Be a Deer’ and instead of sending cards to colleagues, download and write your greeting on our Christmas Poster and make a festive donation to Dougie Mac.

5 easy steps to support our Christmas Poster Campaign:

  1. You will need to nominate someone to collect the donations from your organisation and write their name on the poster so that everyone knows where to take their monies.
  2. Put up the poster in a prominent location such as a staff notice board or canteen. If you would like additional posters for your departments, please email fundraising@dmhospice.org.uk or visit dmhospice.org.uk
  3. Gift Aid your donations – make your donations go even further at no extra cost to you. Print a Gift Aid form and attach it to an envelope where you collect your donations and encourage your colleagues to ‘tick the box’ if they are a UK Tax Payer.
  4. Join in the conversation online by downloading our fundraising resources such as social media cover photos from the links below and sharing your support on Facebook (/dmhospice) or Twitter (@dougiemacstoke). You could even add the Facebook donate button to your post to help boost your fundraising total.
  5. Collect and send back your donations to the hospice; post cheques made payable to Douglas Macmillan Hospice, donate online dmhospice.org.uk/donate, call 01782 344304 or hand deliver cash to the hospice by Friday 25th January 2018.
