Volunteer For Us

Our volunteers are absolutely vital to the work of Dougie Mac Hospice; without them we simply couldn’t continue to provide such a high level of patient care and support.

We have around 1000 dedicated volunteers involved with Dougie Mac Hospice working alongside all our teams in every department – clinical areas, shops, fundraising, lottery, admin and events – offering their skills, experience and expertise. Their enthusiasm and commitment helps us to help others in our community.

Whether you offer 2 hours or 20 hours a week, we need you. Whatever you can do, do it for Dougie Mac…

You could make a huge difference to the quality of life for our patients here at the Dougie Mac and in our community. By sparing a little time and effort, you can get involved and find a rewarding way to make a change to people’s lives in your community.

We offer long-term volunteering opportunities, work placements and corporate volunteering. Take a look at the areas below and click on the tabs for positions available. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact the team on or submit an enquiry via the button below.
