Volunteering Opportunities

Our volunteers are absolutely vital to the work of Dougie Mac Hospice; without them we simply couldn’t continue to provide such a high level of patient care and support.

We have around 1000 dedicated volunteers involved with Dougie Mac Hospice working alongside all our teams in every department – clinical areas, shops, fundraising, lottery, admin and events – offering their skills, experience and expertise. Their enthusiasm and commitment helps us to help others in our community.

Whether you offer 2 hours or 20 hours a week, we need you. Whatever you can do, do it for Dougie Mac…

You could make a huge difference to the quality of life for our patients here at the Dougie Mac and in our community. By sparing a little time and effort, you can get involved and find a rewarding way to make a change to people’s lives.

We offer long-term volunteering opportunities, work placements and corporate volunteering. Take a look at the areas below and click on the tabs for positions available. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact the team on volunteernow@dmhospice.org.uk or submit an enquiry via the button below.
